JORDAN ART GALLERY - TWIST OF FATE: JOHN GILL
Utilizing the fascinating new medium of twist ties I juxtapose the man-made with the natural. My sculptures implement the use and manipulation of an ordinary item, the twist-tie, to mimic the extraordinary beauty of nature.
The making of a twist-tie contributes to the exhaustion of the resources of our natural world, only to become disposable waste and a detriment to the local eco-system.
